NOTICE OF RIGHT TO OPT OUT // YOUR OPT-OUT RIGHTS
1. Your right to opt-out of sales, sharing, and targeted advertising
To offer more tailored information, promotions, and advertising, we share personal information with third-party providers of advertising technologies and services who may use such information for their own purposes or to serve other clients, including displaying our advertisements on non-company sites and services. These common forms of data sharing and usage may be considered “selling” and “sharing” as defined under the consumer privacy laws of California. Please note that we do not monetize personal information in the form of an exchange for money.
US residents in certain states have or will soon have the right to opt out of certain data sharing and usage arrangements, and may do so by:
- Completing the form located in the sidebar if you’ve previously shared your information through a form and wish to opt out of further communication.
- Click here to withdraw your consent and stop data collection.
- Click here to allow data collection and receive a personalized experience
If you choose this option, we will process your opt-out request based on the browser and device from which the request was received. This opt-out may not apply to other devices or browsers if we cannot associate them with you. To ensure a broader opt-out, you can use the second option by filling out the form in the sidebar. We may need to verify your identity and residency to act on your request.
We will respond to your request as required by applicable laws, which may differ based on your state of residence. Please note that opting out of sales, sharing, and targeted advertising will not prevent all advertisements from being displayed to you. You may still see contextual or other advertisements that do not rely on “targeted advertising” techniques, “sales,” or “sharing” with advertising partners. We may also continue to disclose your personal information to third parties for purposes outside of cross-context behavioral advertising.
2. Submitting opt-out requests via an authorized agent
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. To do so, we must receive written authorization stating that you have authorized the agent to submit a request on your behalf. This authorization must be signed by you and the agent, and we must verify both identities. If you are a California resident, please also see our California Consumer Privacy Act Privacy Policy for information about our processing practices and the steps to designate an authorized agent.
3. Opt-Out Preference Signals
In certain states, we respond to opt-out preference signals communicated via the Global Privacy Control (GPC) and will process such signals for the browser or device communicating the signal, or specifically for you if you are logged into your account while transmitting GPC opt-out signals. To use Global Privacy Control, please follow the instructions here: https://globalprivacycontrol.org/.
